Liability Waiver
Training, camera services, and any session where you or I are physically present. Binding when you book. Effective August 17, 2026.
You assume the risk
Training can cause injury, disability, or death. So can a photoshoot, a video set, an event, a public location, weather, other people, equipment, and bad luck. You know that. You still want the session. You take that risk. Not Shop Insane. Not EJ Insane.
Release
You release and hold harmless Shop Insane, Shot By Insane, Insane Comics, EJ Insane, and anyone assisting the session from any claim for injury, illness, property damage, or death arising out of training or production — including ordinary negligence — to the maximum extent North Carolina law allows. Booking is your signature.
Your body, your set
I am a trainer and a camera operator, not your doctor. You have cleared physical work with a physician if you need to. You tell me about injuries, asthma, heart issues, pregnancy, or anything that changes the plan. You stop if something feels wrong. You do not show up impaired. On a set, you follow the safety call. Unsecured weapons and illegal activity end the job.
No guarantees
Training results are not promised. A shoot is not a warranty on how you feel about the pictures. How you recover, eat, show up, and use the files is on you.
Minors
Under 18 only with a parent or guardian on the booking. That adult accepts this waiver for the minor.
