Terms of Service

The deal

You are buying from Shop Insane — digital goods, Planet Insane clothing, and services performed by EJ Insane in and around Charlotte, North Carolina. You will be at least 18, or a parent is on the booking. You pay the price on the page. You show up when you book.

Assumption of risk

Training, production, and public-location filming carry real risk — including injury, property damage, and death. You assume it. You release Shop Insane, Shot By Insane, Insane Comics, and EJ Insane from claims arising from ordinary negligence to the maximum extent North Carolina law allows.

Training waiver

Personal Training (in person or online) and Camera Services are covered by a separate release. You assume the risk of injury or death on a session or a set. You release Shop Insane and EJ Insane from those claims to the extent North Carolina law allows. Full text: shopinsane.com/waiver. Checking the box on the booking is your signature.

Right to refuse

We walk if the set or session is unsafe. That includes unsecured firearms or replica weapons without a written safety plan, impairment from alcohol or cannabis that compromises judgment, illegal activity, threats, or anything that endangers crew, talent, or property. Deposit rules still apply if you created the hazard.

Editing Only is reviewed before any invoice. If the look, runtime, or reference is outside what I can deliver at the standard I keep, I will decline. That is not a slight — it is the work sitting above the current brief. No invoice. No charge.

Money

Digital products and clothing are final. Services take a 30% deposit to hold the slot. I’ll be there about 10 minutes early. You get 15 minutes of grace after start. Cancel with 2 days’ notice. If we cancel — or weather kills outdoor work and you don’t want a new date — the deposit comes back the same day. I try to deliver files inside 24 hours; only pay for expedited if the deadline is mandatory. Miss that paid window and the expedited fee is refunded. IP

Insane Comics, Shop Insane, Shot By Insane, Planet Insane, and the work on this site stay ours unless a written license says otherwise. You do not get to resell a program PDF or cut our footage into your brand without a deal. Client photos/video from a paid shoot: you get the usage we agreed in the booking. We may show the work in a reel unless you paid for a closed set and said so in writing.
